TACT is a scheduling method which equalizes the production through synchronization of activity time and lessens the waste of activity especially for finishing work management on construction projects. But TACT scheduling method has been recognized that it has some problems in practical use. First, manual synchronization of activity time causes inefficiency of each activity. Second, it does not consider uncertainty of activity enough. Third, rigidity of schedule leads each delay of activity to the project delay in whole. Fourth, dispersion of monitoring points makes it hard to control multi projects. To solve these problems, it is suggested to apply main ideas of Theory of Constraints (TOC). By classifying uncertainties into three groups to estimate critical time of each activity, ideal time for activities and buffer time are calculated. Through rescheduling of TACT schedule by using critical time, practical consideration of constraints are implemented. And it is easier to manage single and multi projects by using buffer management. Therefore, this methodology is named as T-TACT. To verify this methodology, case study is implemented. Though the case study, it is verified to enhance contemporaneous TACT method in the view of solving previous problems.
