- Abstract
- 수출 위주의 산업 구조에서 EU의 환경 규제는 커다란 무역 장벽으로 작용하고 있으며, 이러한 규제는 지역적으로 확대뿐만 아니라 물질수도 추가 되고 있다. 이러한 환경 규제 중의 하나인 RoHS(유해물질 사용제한) 지침은 전기전자제품 내 유해물질 사용을 제한하는 EU의 지침이다. 2003년 2월 발표되어 2006년 7월 1일 부터는 EU 지역으로 수출 되는 모든 전기전자제품에 대해 RoHS 규제를 적용 받고 있다. 이중에 이동통신 단말기도 적용 대상이다. 대한민국은 CDMA 단말기의 종주국이라 할 수 있지만 제품 수명주기가 짧다는 것과 짧은 개발기간을 요구 받고 있다. RoHS 규제를 만족시키기 위해 준비되어야 할 가장 적절한 시점은 제품의 개발단계이다. 따라서 RoHS 만족을 위한 적합한 RoHS 보증시스템 모형 설계를 위해 본 연구를 시작하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 선진전기전자 업체를 중심으로 RoHS 지침을 준수하기 위해 적극적으로 준비하는 국내외 선두 기업을 중심으로 사례 연구를 하였다. RoHS(유해물질 사용제한) 지침을 준수하고 있음을 스스로 선언하기 위해 많은 시간과 비용이 소요되고 있고, 단말기 제품의 짧은 개발 기간에 많은 장애요인으로 작용하고 있고 제품 출시에 영향을 주고 있다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 이동통신 단말기 제품 개발을 위한 RoHS(유해물질 사용제한) 보증시스템 모형을 설계하여 제품 개발초기 단계부터 적용할 수 있도록 하였다.
- Alternative Abstract
- European Parliament’s directive on the restriction of hazardous substances launched in July 2006. The directive mandates that electronics devices sold in the EU after the date of July 1stof 2006 be certified of elements traditionally used in electrical and electronics equipment. This regulation will be applied to major mobile export products to EU. Korea has introduced industrialized CDMA mobile phone for the first time in the world, however, we are constantly requesting for the short life cycle and the short development lead time on products. The most proper time for RoHS assurance is initial development phase. Therefore, it had leaded me to start the research RoHS assurance model designation. To declare for RoHS compliance by itself consumes not only time but also money, it affects crucial development lead time. I have studied RoHS data collection method, data reuse rate and supplier data management for self declaration on RoHS complaint. Through the case studies, several problems were found to be impoved for RoHS assurance. The first thing is RoHS data base that reduces data collection time and raises data reuse rate. The next thing is to establish supply chain managemnet system through the RoHS data base system. As a result, I have designed RoHS assurance model for mobile phone development industry. Through the RoHS assurance model, we can found out the improvement effectiveness more than 40%. if this system is applied continuosly. improvement effectiveness will be increased more than 50%. If environmental regulation standardization fixed and stabled, I'd like to study on integrated with environmental regulation and expanded assurance system for various industry.
