Abstract
본 논문에서 사용한 ARM 플랫폼은 ARM DSP가 내장된 ARM11 코어의 프로세서 기반의 플랫폼으로 Windows Embedded CE 6.0 OS를 사용하여 사용자에게 더욱 편리한 인터페이스를 제공할 수 있도록 하고, 개발자들에게는 센서를 활용한 다양한 어플리케이션을 보다 쉽게 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 Windows Embedded CE 6.0을 사용함으로서 Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 등의 무선 네트워크 환경을 보다 쉽게 적용할 수 있다. 응용으로 SAW Device Reader를 구현하여 ARM11 Platform을 검증하였다. SAW Device는 필터이외에도 각종 물리센서나 화학센서 혹은 ID Tag로 다양한 분야로 활용범위가 확대됨에 따라 다양한 SAW Device를 사용하기 위한 플랫폼이 요구된다. 하지만 현재 SAW Sensor는 많은 발전을 해왔지만 SAW Sensor를 활용 할 수 있는 플랫폼의 발전은 미흡하기 때문에 본 논문에서는 ID Tag 나 Sensor를 비롯한 여러 SAW Sensor를 보다 편리 하게 활용할 수 있는ARM11 플랫폼에 대하여 연구 하였다.

A Study on ARM11 Core Platform for SAW Device Moon-Soo Lim Advisor : Prof. Young-Gil Kim Department of Graduate School of Ajou University As the practical range of SAW Device extended into various fields including physical sensor, chemical sensor and ID Tag, the platform for various SAW Devices is required more than ever. While SAW Sensors advanced remarkably, the development of platform which applies to SAW Sensor left much to be desired. Therefore this paper represents the SAW platform in order to use SAW sensors such as ID Tag or Sensors more conveniently. The SAW platform consists of a reader module which can recognize SAW Device and a main module which has a high performance processor as well as DSP in order to process the response signal of SAW Device. The main module which has a high performance processor is designed by GUI environmental type to ensure that users are able to use the platform more easily. The reader module uses I/Q demodulator so it can demodulate a radio beam originated from SAW Sensor then it digitize the demodulated signals by A/D Convertor. The values of I/Q transferred from the reader module to the main module through high speed data bus goes to DSP. Therefore the platform can obtain the ID and sensed value originated from SAW Sensor. Now users can see them. In this paper, the SAW platform, which is based on ARM11 core processor with built-in ARM DSP, used Windows Embedded CE 6.0 OS which brings friendly interface to users. Also the developers can make less effort to design various applications with sensors.
