dc.description.abstract | New Quantum dots were fabricated with a core/shell/shell structure consisting of CdTe core/InP shell/ZnS shell. The InP shell causes a red-shift to the NIR region and the ZnS shell imparts photo-stability. The toxicity test on mammalian cells and NIR imaging of a mouse highlights their potential applications in biomedical imaging. | - |
