- 본 연구는 내현적자기애와 전위공격성의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심과 분노억제의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 283명을 대상으로 내현적자기애, 내면화된 수치심, 분노억제, 그리고 전위공격성을 측정하는 설문을 실시하였다. 내면화된 수치심과 분노억제의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 구조방정식을 사용하였다. 그 결과, 내현적자기애와 전위공격성의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심과 분노억제가 순차적 매개효과를 나타내었다. 또한, 내현적자기애와 전위공격성의 관계에서 분노억제가 부분매개효과를 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 내현적자기애가 높을수록 내면화된 수치심을 경험하고, 이는 분노억제에 영향을 미침으로써 전위공격성으로 이어질 수 있음을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의 및 한계점에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.
- Alternative Abstract
- This study examined whether internalized shame and anger suppression show a sequential mediating effect in the relationship between covert narcissism and displaced aggression. A total of two hundreds and eighty-three individuals completed a battery assessing covert narcissism, internalized shame, anger suppression, and displaced aggression. Structural Equation Modeling was used to test the mediation effect of internalized shame and anger suppression. As a result, internalized shame and anger suppression showed a sequential partial mediating effect in the relationship between covert narcissism and displaced aggression. Moreover, the anger suppression showed a partial mediating effect in the relationship between covert narcissism and displaced aggression. These results suggest that the higher covert narcissism, the more internalized shame experienced, which can led to displaced aggression by influencing anger suppression. And, significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
