Alternative Abstract
Recently, WAVE protocol based wireless mesh networks have emerged as WAVE based intelligent devices have been developed for V2X safety services in wireless mesh network environments such as smart city, highway street light environment, down-town street light environment. In order for pedestrians, drivers, and C-ITS centers to quickly recognize and respond to emergencies, each WAVE node must promptly propagate emergency safety messages to the surroundings and reliably transmit high-quality video data to its WAVE gateway while satisfying each communication QoS. However, existing WAVE/IEEE 802.11p based wireless mesh network studies do not operate in accordance with the characteristics of the MIMC WAVE wireless mesh network environment that we consider, so network performance is not guaranteed to be used as it is. In this paper, we propose an MIMC environment con_x000C_figuration and operation that satisfi_x000C_es both the performance of emergency safety messages and high-quality video data in the MIMC WAVE environment. And we propose a routing protocol WLMNP(WAVE Local Mesh Network Protocol) for low-latency and reliable communications, sufficiently considering the characteristics of the WAVE wireless mesh network. As a result of the ns-3 simulation experiment, we con_x000C_firmed that the proposed scheme transmits data while guaranteeing the communication QoS for each data characteristic and improves performance compared to related studies.
