- Abstract
- 현재 가정내에서의 네트워크 환경 구축이 홈네트워킹 관련 기술의 발전과 더불어 확산되는 추세에 있으며 이를 지원하는 제품군 또한 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 홈 네트워크의 다양한 표준 중 가정내에서 기기간의 자유로운 미디어 컨텐츠 공유를 주된 목적으로 하는 DLNA(Digital Living Network Alliance)를 이용하여 셋톱박스에서 디지털 방송 신호를 수신하여 Ethernet Interface를 통해 외부 저장 장치로 녹화하는 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다. 기존의 디지털 방송 환경에서의 녹화 시스템은 셋톱박스 내부에 대용량 HDD를 내장하여 Main Chip과의 IDE 또는 SATA Interface를 통해 방송 스트림을 저장하였다. 하지만, 본 녹화 시스템을 이용할 경우 셋톱박스 내부에 장착했던 HDD가 필요 없게 되므로 보다 경제적이고 편리한 녹화를 할 수 있으며 향후 DLNA 가이드라인 개정에 따른 기능 확장도 기대할 수 있을 것이다.
- Alternative Abstract
- Network environment construction inside of the home can now be spread in tendency along with the development of homenetworking-related technologies and products that support this are also increasing. This treatise is about the design and implementation of recording system from settopbox that is transmitted digital broadcast signal to external storage device by ethernet interface using DLNA(Digital Living Network Alliance) what is among various standards of homenetwork and which main purpose is public ownership of media contents between devices inside of the home. Recording system in existent digital broadcasting environment has high-capacity HDD inside settopbox and stored broadcasting stream through IDE or SATA interface between Main chip and HDD. However, it can be recorded more economical and convenient because it does not need HDD inside settopbox and it will be expected extension of function by revision of DLNA guideline in case of use this recording system.
