한국판 자기자비척도의 요인구조 검증: 자기자비와 자기냉담에 대하여

Abstract: 최근 자기자비가 상담 및 심리치료 분야에서 활발히 논의되고 있지만, 자기자비척도의 요인구조에 있어서는 혼란이 지속되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대학생 457명을 대상으로 한국판 자기자비척도의 요인구조를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 8개 모형에 대해 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였고, 확정된 모형에 대해 타당도 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 2개의 일반요인(자기자비, 자기냉담)과 6개의 영역특성요인(자기친절, 보편적 인간성, 마음챙김, 자기판단, 고립, 과잉동일시)으로 구성된 second-order 모형이 지지되었다. 타당도 검증 결과, 자기자비는 긍정적 심리지표와 더 강한 연관성을 나타냈으며, 자기냉담은 부정적 심리지표와 더 강한 연관성을 나타내 두 요인의 차별적 영향력이 확인되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 자기자비척도 요인의 사용에 관해 제안하면서, 본 연구의 의의 및 한계에 관해 논의하였다.

Alternative Abstract: Nowadays, Self-Compassion is widely discussed in counseling and psychotherapy studies. Nevertheless, there has been a controversy surrounding factor structure of the Self-Compassion Scale. The purpose of this study is to provide an examination of factor structure of the Korean version Self-Compassion Scale in a sample of 457 undergraduate students. For this, we conducted confirmatory factor analysis to evaluate 8 models and also conducted validity analysis. The results showed that CFA supported a second-order structure consisting of 2 general factors(Self-Compassion and Self-Coldness) and 6 domain-specific factors(Self-Kindness, Common humanity, Mindfulness, Self-judgment, Isolation, Over-identification). The results also indicated that Self-Compassion had a stronger link to positive psychological outcomes than negative psychological outcomes and Self-Coldness had a stronger link to negative psychological outcomes than positive psychological outcomes. The implications and limitations of the present study were discussed with suggestion for using the K-SCS.
