dc.description.abstract영아교사의 자질에 대한 교사와 학부모의 기대인식 분석 영아에게 질 높은 양육 및 교육을 제공하기 위해 보육 담당자인 교사와 보육 수요자인 학부모가 기대하는 교사 자질이 무엇인지 구체적으로 고찰하여 보다 바람직한 영아교사의 역할을 모색하는 것이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 유아 교육기관에서 영아를 담당하는 교사와 영아자녀를 둔 학부모를 대상으로 교사 에게 기대하는 자질에 대한 인식을 알아보고 그 차이를 분석해 보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영아교사의 자질에 대한 교사의 기대인식은 담당연령이 어릴수록, 미혼교사보다는 기혼교사가, 급여와 직위가 높을수록 영아교사의 인성적 자질과 전문적 자질을 더욱 중요하게 생각하고 높게 인식하였다. 둘째, 부모의 연령과 학력, 자녀의 성별과 연령, 자녀의 재원기관 유형에 따른 영아교사의 자질에 대한 부모의 인식에는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 영아교사의 자질에 대한 인성과 교육적 태도가 교사와 부모 모두에게 가장 높게 기대하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 영아교사로서 인성을 비롯한 전문적 자질을 겸비한 조화로운 교사를 기대하는 것으로 나타났다. 주요어: 영아교사, 영아교사의 자질-
