- 이 논문은 한국의 <시집살이노래>와 중국 소수 민족의 하나인 이족(彝族)의 <곡가노래>(哭嫁歌)를 대상으로 여성의 사회적 지위, 여성의 일상생활의 면면을 살펴보고, 다른 역사와 환경에 처해 있는, 조선시대의 한국여성과 중국 민주개혁 전 이족(彝族)여성들의 비애를 비교 대조함으로써 두 민족의 여성문제를 고찰해 보고자 한다.
