dc.description.alternativeAbstract | The study aims to provide a comprehensive overview about instituions by empirically investigating the quality of institution ? led growth hypothesis in Asian countries. The G2SLS regression with random effect and IV regression methods are applied in order to estimate the specified equation used in the study. The panel data set utilized runs from 2000 to 2007. The results set that institution is determinant of economic growth in Asian countries, and institutions are more effective to prove their impact on growth directly than indirectly. Also ?Catch ? Up? effect would not apply in Asian countries as well as other regions. | - |
