T As a consequence of the movement toward the expansion of the world economic integration frame; MERCOSUR, Paraguay as a member country and South Korea developed their relationship especially in trade and investment. In this sense, according to figures regarding potential trade, Paraguay can increase its currents exports to South Korea almost 285 times. On the other hand, South Korea can improve its actual exports to Paraguay approximately 21 times. Also was determined that for Paraguay would be beneficial an FTA between MERCOSUR and South Korea, considering the predominance of trade creation over trade diversion and therefore the existence of a positive net trade creation between both sides.-
