Model simulations were performed to investigate the temporal variation and sensitivity of indoor air pollutants at different initial conditions.
Chemistry module is based on CB-4 and includes 36 chemical species and 81 chemical reactions excluding photochemical reactions.
Results show that indoor O3 concentrations remain quite low(~several ppb) if there were no sources or inflows from outside. Chemical reactions involving CO, HCHO and NMHC(Non-Methans Hydrocarbons) were also slow enough to maintain those species almost constant levels.
These results are quite different from those involving photochemical reactions and further investigation is need to reveal the more sophisticated reation pathways of indoor pollutans.
