Currently most of records are produced and stored in digital form using different kind of storage media and computer systems. Unlike physical records such as paper based records; identifying, collecting and analyzing digital records require technical knowledge and tools which are not found in archival institution. As result archival institutions are facing different challenges when they attempt to collect digital archives. One of approaches to overcome this problem is to use digital forensic knowledge and technologies in archival institutions. In this thesis we proposed Digital Archive Management System (DAMS) which integrates digital forensics technologies and archival information management system which is used to acquire, identify, analyze and manage digital records in archival institutions.-
