dc.description.alternativeAbstractA variety of objective and subjective researches are under way in order to test the sound quality of audio system. No matter how good systems we have, it is difficult to embody timbre making everybody generally satisfied because sound quality is valued through one of man's sensory organs, the auditory organ. In other words, the electric characteristics of audio system are linearly out of proportion to the special quality of man's audio organ. Given that this aspect, the dissertation is aimed at embodying sound quality in a person's favor through its objective analysis and subjective assessment In a subjective aspect each single person's preference is so different that sound quality was studied in certain areas, namely nations that have the similar sound quality people prefer due to their cultural characteristics, analyzed the source of the sounds in a record selling in that area, and extracted the preference pattern. The extracted preference pattern was first applied to the real audio system and then listening test for the public was carried out. From the result of the listening test, verification tests following the additional supplementation of the sound quality showed that the preferences were higher than before.-
