The current research is undertaken as studies of the role of an association network in a democratic process, and our main focus will be association network which is particularly linked in southern Cameroon. The main aim of my project is to highlight the roles of this association which sparks or bring about democratization, or better still the part played by them during a democratic process. By asking the general question “How do associations network enhance democracy?” scholars have brought civil society and groups back into the normative and empirical investigation of Democracy. It is now widely believed that the existence of a vibrant Association network is an important factor, if not the single most important one, in the transition to and the consolidation of democracy. It should equally be noted that a democratic process is a continuous process. Hence this project will focus on associations network contributing to democracy. What contribution do a different kind of association network make to advance contesting ideas of democratic governance, and what is the obstacle to their effectiveness. The Anglophones Cameroon is experiencing what can be term Anglophone crisis, this is an identity and minority problem. and as I looked at what is unfolding in Cameroon right now, I termed it a Democratic process. There has been a desire for autonomy by some who believe the union between the two Cameroon have completely failed and equally a desire for integration by some who think more time is needed. Several associations or unions have played a part in this process, and as for me, I termed it a democratic process. Hence, we will look at Common law lawyer’s association networks, Teachers Association, students’ associations, Human right association network. I will equally summarize the work of pro-secessionist association who have stand tall in this process. This project, therefore, recommends that in other for the international community to resolve, what began as Anglophone marginalization, which has now escalated to violence and human right violation in Anglophone Cameroon. In this era of globalization, the international community needs to intervene or better still listen to this associations network, for power is located in the networks that structured societies. “power does not reside in institutions not even the state or large corporations, it is located in the networks that structure society (Manuel Castells).-
