dc.description.alternativeAbstract | Acne disease is an inflammatory skin disease experienced by 70-87% of all people. Among the acne treatment methods, there are AC cure MLE Gel and Epiduo Gel which contain Adapalene which reduces sebaceous secretion and Benzoyl peroxide which shows strong antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effect among topical treatment which is easy to carry. In this study, we compared the results of phase separation, sedimentation, stability, skin permeation and skin irritation for AC cure MLE Gel and Epiduo Gel. Unlike Epiduo Gel, which is a general water based gel, AC cure MLE Gel is manufactured using the Multi Lamella Emulsion (MLE) method, a drug delivery system technology, and has excellent pseudoceramide, skin-friendly and multi-layer lamellar structure. AC cure MLE Gel showed decreased side effects such as erythema and edema as compared with Epiduo Gel, and it was confirmed that excellent skin regeneration and skin permeation of active ingredients Adapalene and Benzoyl peroxide can be increased to increase therapeutic effect. | - |
