dc.description.alternativeAbstractThis paper researches on building a development process for establishing a quality plan for initial quality assurance purposes in electronic component manufacturers. In this study, we analyze the ISO-based quality planning activities of electronic component manufacturers and compared with APQP quality planning activities in the automotive industry. Moreover the quality planning activities in the electronic components industry confirms the shortcomings points, and constructs APQP-based development process on the electronic component. To meet customer delivery schedules were the first consideration point in the quality planning stages on the electronic component industry, and establish a development process that was considered sufficient for the advanced quality planning activities. And the process was applied to examine the feasibility and effectiveness. The result of this study that was built for development process on the electronic component, production start schedule, the initial failure rate, the customer rejects were reasonable than existing process. When applying this process, the company will be expected to help in the initial quality assurance and ensuring customer loyalty.-
