Emphasis has been laid on the importance of access to banking/financial services over the past decades. Such access requires the delivery of banking services affordable rates to the large groups. The main focus of banking here is to alleviate poverty, especially in the rural areas. Access to such facilities has proven to reduce the poverty rate in certain countries as has been cited in this work. And if the ideas used in the cited countries are implemented in Cameroon, it can go a long way to contribute in reducing the poverty rate thereby achieving her dream of being an emerging nation by 2035.-
