dc.description.alternativeAbstractThis study examines the Development of Continental Transport and Trade in case of the “Silk Road”. This thesis work stresses the need for close and effective coordination between the European countries and the transit countries of Central Asia. Moreover, this thesis work makes analysis on the new transport corridors that will link Europe with China via Central Asia and gives suggestions on how to effectively boost trade between Central Asian countries and South-East Asian countries. In addition, this thesis mentions the various new Silk Road initiatives such as the United States “New Silk Road”, the Turkey’s “Silk Road Project”, China’s one belt one road Silk Road initiative, Russia’s Vision of Eurasian Integration, European New Silk Road Initiatives and their interactions with one other, and on their possible influences on the Central Asian republics. Moreover, this thesis work examines the driving force of the new Silk Roads and obstacles for its rebuilding.-
