The world is faced with complex challenges which include global terrorism, conflicts, diseases, climate change and persistence porverty. Some of this challenges are natural and some are man-made and can be contained by a collective action of humans. As neighbors, we are challenged to take care of each other and the strong are expected to extend help to the weak in times of needs. In order to make the world a better place for you and for me, we need to dissolve political boundaries, cultural back-ground, religious differences, race or any such differences. This confirms why China (from Asia), can find it easy to maintain a long relationship with Sudan (from Africa), a continent that is a million miles away. Partnership and cooperation is one of the ways of helper one another within some moral lines. My study aims to enable the reader understand the role financial assistance offered to Sudan for development. We also find out that, China’s loans and grants offered to Sudan greatly increased from 17 percent in 1999 to 73 percent in 2007out of total loans and grants offered to Sudan Sudan has undergone lots of changes (positive and negative) that have been influenced by the aid from China. mixed positive and negative impact. The positive impact is providing alternative complementary sources of finance to complement domestic capital and financing development projects. The negative impact is increasing Sudan’s debts to China from 0.9 percent in 1999 to 13.45 percent in 2007 of Sudan’s total debt “The effectiveness of Chinese aid to Sudan is undermined by offering aid tied to trade, FDI and importance of oil to Chinese economy. It is worth to explain that, despite the recent global crisis, China has maintained offering tied aid to maintain access to oil in Sudan. Sudan was able to grow economically, despite the financial constraints, and will all be grateful to China for extending a hand of partnership when the international community isolated Sudan. This research argues the fact that, the presence of natural resources is a huge blessing to a country especially if it is with a partner that is in need for such materials.-
