D ļ Սĳ-ĳ,Ĭ 0,ՐX ¬x x ՐX 䲑\ 1D ٳ XՔ P\ t l t X.The objective of this study is to clarify density-speed relationship of pedestrian in signalized crossway for making the basic of relatively weak pedestrian study.
Two crossway were investigated, which are located north from Boo-cheon station of Seoul Metro line 1. and north from Song-nae station of Seoul Metro line 1. Data of Three times(before noon, noon, afternoon) in two days(from 2007. 11. 15. to 2007. 11. 16.) were collected, which were pictures of VTR, pedestrian number of signal cycle, distance and length of crossway and traffic signal phase. Using pictures of VTR, 321 sample data collected, which were composed of sex of pedestrian, pedestrian speed, reverse direction pedestrian density, same direction pedestrian density, total pedestrian density.
Using general-purpose statistical program SPSS ver10.0, constructed sample data were analyzed, an optimum model was estimated on the process of linear regression modelling and non-linear regression modelling. Model 2 was verified as an optimum model, which use reverse and same direction pedestrian density as independent variables. In model 2, reverse pedestrian density decreased pedestrian speed, and same direction pedestrian density increased pedestrian speed. And total pedestrian density increased pedestrian speed. Using the relationship between reverse pedestrian density and pedestrian speed and the relationship between same direction pedestrian density and pedestrian speed, this study can suggest efficient method of crossway using.
